you know it's almost summer when the jacaranda trees are a-blooming! i took this picture of the jacaranda tree outside our bedroom window. this was taken on probably the last cloudy day we'll have in a long time... unfortunately. hot hot days ahead. :(

aw is that the same purple mulit-flowered tree that grandma had in sisquoc? i loved crushing those flowers with my skates...not because I'm demented, it made the yard patio smell nice.
I am just dreading the summer. remember that girl who got married in arkansas? we'll she & the new hubby are moving to portland this month --I know! I'm totally jealous. lovas!

I love Jacaranda trees! There's a sweet little street in Fullerton with a lot of them, and it is called Jacaranda street, and I want to live there someday. :)
